Stickman Video Maker looks like it came straight out of a Windows 95-era, but is one of the most popular drawing tools in Japan. Like other freeware image editors, Stickman Video Maker allows you to create digital art and supports layer editing, selective undos, and an assortment of brushes and tools for artists. Stickman Video Maker can also listen for and respond to IR and X10 commands from remote controls. Simply program a "trigger" into a command button using a remote control and that command button will then execute whenever Stickman Video Maker receives that trigger. X10 triggers can wake the PC from standby. Stickman Video Maker worked exactly as promised, but this isn't a tool we'd consider a must-have. It may be able to find the information, but in order to really use the Stickman Video Maker engine pulls up, most users will want to use their default browser. We'd prefer to see this freeware as a browser extension, giving us the benefits of quick searches without giving up any browsing functionality.
